Inferno Volunteers

It truly "takes a village" to put together and host an event like the Tuckerman Inferno Pentathlon. Our dedicated volunteers are part of what makes this race possible and so special - won't you please come out and join us? New volunteers are always welcome and we have a broad range of tasks suitable for any age and ability - all we need is a cheerful smile and a good attitude. Here are some of the areas we're in need of assistance:RoadSafetyCrew_490px.jpg

  • Mountain Safety Team
  • Transition Zone Support Team
  • Race Timing Team
  • Race Registration & Award Ceremony Team
  • Photography & Film Team

If you'd like to volunteer, email [email protected].

This coming year we are ramping up for the 20th Tuckerman Inferno Pentathlon race! A milestone event and major fundraising activity for the Friends of Tuckerman Ravine. We'll need Ski Patrollers on the mountain, Race Timing Assistants, Transition Zone Support Crew, Race Registration and Race Award Ceremony Set-Up, and more. Volunteers are invited to attend the Inferno Awards Ceremony at Ledge Brewing after the race. Here is where and when we need help:

Photography & Film Support -- Photographers and videographers needed to document each segment of the race and to shoot pictures at the awards banquet.

Kate, anyone looking to volunteer at any of the race transition points (other than up on the mountain) should sign up under the Road Safety Team. Thanks for being willing to help out!
